Cross-pollinating experiences and expertise across the global sector + academia, the Climate Library brings together the know-hows of practice + the advancements in research, to keep you informed on the latest climate change-focused benchmarks, standards, guidelines + initiatives of the built environment sector.

A select sample of resources have been reviewed, and gathered in a curated library here, for all the topics covered within the Climate Framework's detailed structure. These resources link to existing content developed by expert individuals, and organisations across the international building and construction industry, as well as academics, governmental, and non-governmental bodies.

Connectivity + Transport
Connectivity + Transport addresses the urban-scale of the built environment, and focuses on how people, places, cities, and regions connect to one another, by promoting active travel, and other/future sustainable means of transportation - all presented with relevant tools, guides and calculators.
Global Context + Fundamentals
Global Context + Fundamentals maps out the essential background around climate science, systems’ thinking, as well as global research, policies, commitments, initiatives and projects that relate to climate change.
Built Environment Context
Built Environment Context covers key principles of the built environment’s impacts on nature and health; ethics and value of sustainability in the construction and real estate sector, and provides an overview of the various, key policies, legislations, benchmarks and construction) industry guidance that relate to sustainability and climate change.
Common Threads
Common Threads addresses crucial topics of retrofit, climate justice, designing for performance, disaster risk resilience, procurement, as well as research and innovation, among others - all covered and referenced throughout the entire Framework – from different perspectives, and with a focused emphasis, in relation to the main (bubble) theme they are referenced under.

How the content is curated

We recognise that not everyone has the same level of knowledge, skills and experience.
The Climate Framework, therefore, adopts a three-tier structure for everyone to find their unique Climate Journey.

Tier 1 - Climate Aware

raises awareness, and develops basic knowledge and understanding

Tier 2 - Climate Adopter

gains industry-specific knowledge and skills, together with the ability to apply this in practice/academic work

Tier 3 - Climate Expert

develops a well-rounded knowledge base + builds expertise, together with the ability to analyse, evaluate and use the further knowledge gained in a creative manner
