Climate literacy must form a core part of any architect's academic and professional (continuing) education programme.
Underpinned by the vision and the mission of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and focusing on the Goals that can be directly impacted by the work we deliver within the built environment sector, the RIBA’s Climate Literacy topics (based on the Climate Framework structure) cover subjects that we must all consider and embrace, across the sector, in order to mitigate adverse impacts of climate change. This event provides an overview of the main topics that sit at the heart of the requirements the RIBA has identified as mandatory competencies for all architects.
